Purpose and Objective
The Gender Champion program is designed to promote gender equality, raise awareness about gender-based violence, and support the empowerment of women and gender minorities on campus. The objectives of the Gender Champion are to:
Foster a gender-sensitive environment and promote respect for all genders.
Create awareness and provide support for victims of gender-based violence.
Engage in gender sensitization and awareness programs.
Composition
The Gender Champion Committee will consist of the following member:

Roles and Responsibilities
Gender Sensitization: Organize gender sensitization programs, workshops, and seminars to educate students and staff about gender equality, stereotypes, and biases.
Awareness Campaigns: Raise awareness about gender-based violence, including sexual harassment, domestic violence, and workplace harassment, through campaigns, events, and discussions.
Support Mechanism: Provide counseling and support to students who are victims of gender-based discrimination or violence, ensuring confidentiality and protection.
Safe Environment: Work with the administration to ensure that the campus remains a safe space for all genders, free from harassment and discrimination.
Policy Advocacy: Advocate for institutional policies that promote gender equality, such as equal access to opportunities, facilities, and support systems.
Activities
Workshops and Training: Conduct workshops on gender rights, self-defense, and sexual harassment prevention.
Gender Inclusivity in Curriculum: Encourage the inclusion of gender studies and diversity issues within academic curricula.
Support Groups: Establish peer support groups where students can discuss gender-related issues in a safe and supportive environment.
